Very Rare Set of 3 Antique Japanese Military Korean Empire Defense Lacquer Sake Cups

This is a very rare set of antique Japanese military sake cups, decorated each with a map of Korea, with the cities of Seoul, Incheon, and Busan marked. Korea is named « Kankoku », the name used during the Korean Empire period (1897-1910) before annexation by Japan. The words on the back of each of the cups are « Korean Empire Garrison 32nd Infantry Regiment 1st Battalion 1st Company ». Under the base of the biggest cup is a mark for the maker.

Condition: Excellent – there’s a chip of the paint on the rim at 3 o’clock for the middle cup.
