This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a quite detailed map of Northeast China – including locations like Mukden, Tieling, Dalian, and some of the smaller garrisons and fortresses. The big words are « Commemoration ». The name of Korea is the name used during Korean Empire – suggesting this is a Russo Japanese War era cup and not a Sino Japanese war one. The words on the back are « 8th Division 32nd Infantry Regiment Expedition ».
