Very Rare Antique Japanese Military Whistling Embossed Navy Sake Cup

This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated on the back with a naval insignia and a couple half flags on the two sides. The words are « Great Japanese Navy ». The hole in the center is the air hole for the whistle – when you drink from it and put your mouth to the hole on the edge of the cup (6 o’clock) you’ll make a sound while sucking down the sake. The words are « Term Fulfillment Commemoration » in the center.
