Antique Japanese 1895 1st Sino Japanese War Battle of Pyongyong Fighting Commemoration Lacquer Army Sake Cup

This is an antique Japanese military sake cup, decorated with a regimental banner that’s somewhat tattered, as they often were after seeing combat and the flag extends to the back of the cup The words on the cup are « Fighting Commemoration » and the smaller black words on the flag are « 11th Infantry Regiment ». The words on the back are « Meiji 27/28th Years War » which refers to the first Sino-Japanese war in which the Japanese took control of Korea. The 11th Regiment took part in the Battle of Pyongyang among others. 

Condition: There’s one small chip of the paint on the back right above the base..
